The direct payroll in Wisconsin, including captive plastic products, is $2.3 billion. Plastic-dependent industries add another $42.2 billion to the state’s payroll. Together, plastics companies and the industries that depend on plastic contribute $11.4 billion in state and federal personal income taxes and $5 billion in payroll.
