K Laser Technology is a publicly traded company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, specializing in holographic and metalized print substrates and paper. Established in 2018, the DESIGN LAB was first established at our Hsinchu, Taiwan headquarters as a service unit and collaboration center for creatives, designers, and brand owners. With their exponential growth and success, the Design Lab formally made its way into the Americas, landing in Sarasota, Florida in the summer of 2022.

The DESIGN Lab is not only a service, but a dedicated space and resource provided to the creative minds, those eager to challenge new ideas and continue their journey into label and package design. The DESIGN Lab provides an education to those of all levels; junior graphic artists starting their education to those with many years of experience. Education covers many topics including “what is cold foil,” “how will this elevate and compliment the product and brand,” and “how do I setup my files?” With the capability to provide support live or virtually with our team of experts, creatives at every level can take advantage of our unique resource.

The Design Lab is not only for creatives, there are resources for printers and converters alike. An in-house press is available for research and development, testing, and educating for both flexo and digital printing (by way of our retrofitted digital print head, embellX). This demonstration center also holds the capability to host virtual and live demonstrations.
