Wisconsin was the WORLD LEADER in Paper Manufacturing and going from 58,000 employees to 30,000 and the trend will continue downward! The Paper Industry was the KEY to building a number of other industries and communities dependent on paper. The decline will have major impacts on the State of Wisconsin economy. Our industries depend on out-of-state or foreign paper companies to supply their paper needs.
