Why Join GBIG? We’re Committed to the 5P Industries & Community

Green Bay Innovation Group is very focused on the 5P (print, pulp, paper, packaging, plastics) and Converting Industries providing education, networking, business opportunities and building strong relationships. GBIG reaches out across the State of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.

Fostering Networking Opportunities

Wisconsin is called the Converting Capital of the USA. Additionally, our Printing, Packaging, Corrugated, Label and Plastics lead the nation in output. The 5P and Converting Industries in Wisconsin employ over 150,000 to 200,000 people. We help our sponsors reach prospects and customers across town and across the United States. GBIG has over 160 sponsors (members), and we expect to keep growing. Recently, we added a large German, Italian and New York-based companies as new sponsors.

Sponsoring Industry Tours, Seminars & Events

The Green Bay Innovation Group offers six seminars and tours and a golf outing annually. We also sponsor an expo promoting Wisconsin industries and educating our attendees. Again, GBIG is very focused on the 5P Industries. We operate with a board of six directors who serve on a volunteer basis.

Connecting with 2,500 Readers via Newsletter

Our GBIG NEWS reaches over 2,500 readers on a bi-monthly basis, reporting on the
5P and Converting Industries. We add subscribers every month to our newsletter list, with readers from across the United States and more and more across the world.

GBIG trades out memberships with the following and supports these professional organizations: The New North, The New Manufacturing Alliance, Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council, UW Madison, UW Stevens Point, Great Lakes Timber Professional Association, Wisconsin Paper Shippers, Trees For Tomorrow, Fox Valley Chamber of Commerce and others. GBIG supports and promotes ALL of these organization in our GBIG NEWS.

Donating to Green Bay-Area Nonprofits

Finally, as a NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION, GBIG is required to donate the majority of its revenue back to the community. GBIG supports Apricity, Green Bay Area Sports Organization, Hope Center Pantry, Manna for Life, The Green Bay Children’s Museum, and other nonprofit community organizations in the Green Bay area.
