Another NEWMA Lunch & Learn will be held on September 12 from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. The topic is “Preventing Workplace Overuse/Musculoskeletal Injuries and Costs” by Sara Ziegele, PT, DPT, OCS with Preempt Physical Therapy. The topics are:
- What is a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD)/overuse injury and why it happens in the workplace
- What your OSHA 300 log can tell you about injuries in the workplace
- What you can do to reduce the number of injuries at work
- Tips to reduce lost work days if and when an injury occurs
