We would like to thank UW-Madison Engineering and Michigan State University School of Packaging for becoming Platinum Members of the Green Bay Innovation Group. The Green Bay Innovation Group recognizes the importance of Education in the 5P and Converting Industries. We will be partnering with the two universities providing technical resources, key industry contacts, and supporting their fund-raising efforts.
The Green Bay Innovation Group attended and participated in the UWEBC 28 th Annual Business Best Practices and Emerging Technologies Conference on October 6, 2026. The event brought together more than five hundred business leaders and forward thinkers for a day of learning, inspiration, and networking. The program featured six dynamic tracks, inspiring keynote presentations, and real-world case studies.
The Green Bay Innovation Group was invited for a private tour and groundbreaking ceremony marking the next phase of Packaging 2.0 at Michigan State University’s School of Packaging. The expansion will nearly double the building’s size, providing additional space for teaching, research, and collaboration. As the nation’s first, largest, and most comprehensive packaging school, it prepares students for careers in packaging engineering, design, manufacturing, and research and development. MSU graduates account for more than 40% of packaging professionals entering the U.S. industry.
The expansion made possible by a historic $47 million gift from alumni Chuck and Jackie Frasier. This investment will advance packaging education and research at MSU while supporting future generations of students, researchers, and industry leaders.
