The rapid pace of advancing technology means manufacturers are facing the need to update equipment and maintain tight margins to stay ahead of the competition. Integrating upgrades could mean a multi-layered project involving the management and coordination of several contractors – a headache few manufacturers have time for.
Turnkey solutions in system integration offer streamlined installations and a single point of contact for manufacturers. Partnering with the right provider saves time and money while minimizing disruptions to production.
Choosing a partner means finding not only integration expertise, but also experience with your industry to ensure lasting solutions with a focus on your bottom line.
No matter what the industry, prolonging the working life of major equipment is critical to the profitability of every operation.
When a cold rolling mill customer needed help with their single-point scanning system, repair technicians discovered an outdated system with limited capabilities, no automatic controls, and missing schematics and descriptions.
Quad Plus technicians put their industry experience to work integrating a complete electrical retrofit and then calculating the complex algorithm for electronic camming functionality, updating safety technology, and providing the customer with detailed documentation of the entire assembly.
Gauging technology has allowed manufacturers to significantly reduce waste while delivering products that meet increasingly tight criteria on machinery running faster than ever.
The pace of new technology in the gauging sector is almost as fast as the manufacturing it allows, but total equipment overhauls get expensive even quicker.
When this roofing manufacturer was ready to implement new gauging technology, the challenge for our integrators was to preserve the existing gauge frame as much as possible to reduce expenses.
Using their knowledge of the roofing industry, our experts seamlessly integrated new gauging technology. They kept going to provide additional multi-layer thickness feedback and delamination detection that was missing from the original system.
Worker safety is the priority of every manufacturer, no matter the industry. Still, a deep understanding of the risks associated with different industrial practices is critical to implementing proper safety controls.
We received a call from a coating company needing to upgrade their deteriorating gamma backscatter fixed point gauge system. In this case, it is immediately apparent why experience with the removal and disposal of nuclear-based sensors is critical.
Quad Plus is trained and authorized to provide this service, and our standard scanning frame solution was a straightforward turnkey replacement that made the job easy.
The oil and gas industry provides plenty of unique challenges, from tight schedules and strict regulations to extremely adverse conditions for sensitive equipment. Turnkey solutions from knowledgeable partners are critical for manufacturers in this industry to meet demanding expectations.
An oil and gas industry equipment manufacturer needed a testing facility for the high horsepower pumps used in well stimulation. A complete solution was required: the customer wanted the design, construction, installation, and certification of the facility from a single vendor.
The Quad Plus team has experience in all aspects of the petroleum industry, allowing us to provide a turnkey solution that meets the customer’s specific needs. Self-powered test stands fully equipped with support, safety, and other services are now ready for our customer to meet the extreme demands of their customers.
Managing multiple vendors is complicated and stressful, especially for comprehensive installations. From coordinating schedules to competing egos, a one-stop solution is the best way to focus on meeting the objectives of your project rather than the people necessary to complete it.
The Quad Plus team has experts from every industry with decades of experience installing, operating, inspecting, and repairing the equipment that is critical for your operations. To enjoy calling the shots to a single point of contact and results that exceed your expectations, contact Jim at jwoulf@quadplus.com or call (920) 515-4155.
