Jesse Turkow Joins Titletown Manufacturing Leadership Team

Precision machining and fabrication remain company strengths

Jesse Turkow
Jesse Turkow

Titletown Manufacturing LLC has promoted Jesse Turkow to general manager and a co-ownership role with the Green Bay-based precision machining and fabrication specialist. Turkow, who previously served as the company’s operations manager, joins Chris Fuss as co-owner as a result of the retirement of former co-owner Dan Hilliard.

“Titletown Manufacturing would not be the company it is today without the contributions of Dan Hilliard over the past 15 years,” Fuss says. “We wish him well in his retirement and are looking forward to continuing his commitment to excellence with Jesse Turkow taking on expanded responsibilities.”

Fuss and Hilliard took over ownership of Titletown Manufacturing in 2009 and moved operations into its current facility in 2021. Turkow is adding additional business office functions to retaining his duties overseeing operations. The company has served customers throughout northeastern Wisconsin and beyond for approximately 70 years.

Precision machining delivers tight-tolerance parts

Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) entrust their precision machining and fabrication needs to Titletown Manufacturing’s highly trained workforce for a wide range of products. Proficiencies with aluminum, bronze, mild steel, high-carbon steels and stainless steel make the company a go-to supplier for a variety of projects.

Titletown Manufacturing has upgraded equipment and facilities over the past several years to become one of the region’s premier job shops. The company manufactures parts, component subassemblies and complete machine assemblies for industries as varied as paper production, paper converting, food-grade equipment, and chemical production and storage.

Two overhead 10-ton bridge cranes enable Titletown Manufacturing to manage much larger projects than most midsize machine shops. In addition, its ability to perform precision machining, fabrication and assembly services under one roof minimizes the need for multiple subcontractors and simplifies communication.

About Titletown Manufacturing LLC

Titletown Manufacturing LLC is a trusted metal machining and fabrication shop with approximately 70 years of experience in CNC machining, welding, grinding, assembly and reverse engineering for a wide range of industrial customers throughout the region. The company employs more than 30 people at its facility at 817 Marquis Way in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

GBIG Fosters Collaborative Growth in 5P and Converting Industries

A Green Bay-based business consortium has opened the door to mutually beneficial collaboration between diverse companies. The Green Bay Innovation Group (GBIG) is a business-to-business leader in the Packaging, Paper, Plastics, Printing, Pulp (5P Industries) and Converting industries in Wisconsin. GBIG supports the Great Lakes Region by empowering innovation and technology.

Marty Oochs of Greenbay Innovation Group

GBIG, which started in 2017 with one sponsor, has grown to 175 sponsors from across the U.S. and the world. GBIG builds authentic relationships while promoting business opportunities, education, and networking.

The key to GBIG’s success is the ability to highlight the innovations of world class manufacturing in the region. In the past, these industries were unrecognized for their innovation and technologies, yet they exported their manufacturing products across the globe. Northeast and Southeast Wisconsin form the Converting Corridor of the U.S., providing tremendous growth opportunities for the region.

Marty Ochs, GBIG executive director, has 50 years of experience in the 5P Industries. He recognized the importance of developing a business-to-business professional organization to serve Wisconsin’s diverse 5P and converting companies. GBIG hosts educational events, tours, seminars, a golf outing, and an annual expo. Recent GBIG events delved into the themes of PFAS in Food Packaging and Converting, Coating, and Sustainability.

GBIG publishes a free, bi-weekly e-newsletter called the GBIG News. The GBIG News shares the latest innovations, announcements, and events in the industry. GBIG also empowers women in the profession by supporting an offshoot of the organization – Wi5P (Women in the 5P Industries).

In addition to promoting collaboration and innovation in the 5P Industry, GBIG contributes to the broader community. The Green Bay Innovation Group Foundation donates to nonprofits, community outreach programs, education, and the business community.

GBIG offers free membership, supported by sponsors. To join GBIG, learn more about the organization, or subscribe to the GBIG News, visit www.greenbayinnovationgroup.com
