About Deloitte’s 2022 Wisconsin 75 

Deloitte’s annual Wisconsin 75 list salutes the largest privately held Wisconsin-based companies. These companies play a key role in the state’s economy. Wisconsin 75 award winners are selected based on annual sales revenue. To be eligible for Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75 recognition, companies must have a majority ownership by an individual(s), family, employee stock ownership plan, or private equity firm. Public companies are eligible when greater than 50 percent of the value or vote of the shares are owned by individuals, family, an employee stock ownership plan, or private equity. Additionally, companies must have annual sales revenue of at least USD 50,000. The Wisconsin 75 excludes cooperatives and accounting, tax, legal, and consulting service companies. 

BakerTitan Adhesives Partners with Jeff Messenger Industrial Sales, LLC

Companies to expand service offerings

PATERSON, NJ, September 27, 2022 Today BakerTitan Adhesives, the premier family-owned  adhesives manufacturer, announced a partnership with Jeff Messenger Industrial Sales, LLC (JMIS), a  supplier of web processing solutions for the printing, packaging, and paper industries to sell adhesive  products throughout the Midwest.

BakerTitan’s extensive library of water based adhesive formulas and long history supplying a broad  range of paper converting operations and JMIS’s core business of supplying and maintaining equipment  in the industry, allows the two companies to exploit their strengths for a mutually beneficial partnership  that will offer superior service for customers across regions.  

The creation of this partnership was driven by the needs of both companies to expand their coverage in  both geography and product offering. This agreement allows BakerTitan to offer increased service to  existing customers in the region and allow JMIS to expand its services and products to its customer base.  

“From our initial introduction, we saw an obvious overlap in customer base and an expansive opportunity  for mutual benefits working with JMIS,” said Jeffrey Zelman, Co-Owner, BakerTitan. 

Baker Adhesives and Titan Adhesives were acquired by AMB Enterprises in 2006 and 2009,  respectively, and subsequently merged to create BakerTitan. The company manufactures a wide range of  water-based and hot melt adhesives used in a variety of industries with a specialization in print & graphic  arts. Other industry expertise include envelope converting, consumer packaging converting (corrugated &  folding cartons), light construction (HVAC, insulation, cabinets & stairs) and tissue/towel converting,  among others. All products are proudly made in the USA.

UPDATE – The Printing Showcase Sept. 27th, 2022

Hosted by Green Bay Innovation Group, the SOLD-OUT exhibitors’ space for the Printing Showcase takes place September 27 at The Stadium View in Green Bay, WI. Attendees will learn about printing companies and suppliers’ offerings, from high-speed flexography to the latest 3D innovations. This event features  nearly 50 exhibitors with industry information and networking in all the basic and extended categories including:

  • Flexographic printing services, at high speeds on substrates including paper and film.
  • Offset printing for sheet-fed and web applications in packaging and converting.
  • Trending 3D printing serving manufacturing, medical and engineering needs.
  • Wide web, and display graphics, from branding to pre-press and large formats. 
  • Allied services from label makers, to roll slitting-winding, and engineering.

Kicking off the day at 10 am will be guests Barb LaMue, President & CEO of the New North; and Dan Heiser, Dean of the Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College.

Great Lakes Logging & Heavy Equipment Expo at the Resch Expo in Green Bay

We all want to thank Henry Schienebeck and his team at the Great Lakes Timber Professional Association for the outstanding event at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The event attracted many people from the Great Lake States involved in the logging, forestry, pulp, paper and supporting industries.  We especially want to thank Henry Allen, Jason Bauknecht and Representative Thomas P. Tiffany Representing the 7th, so District of Wisconsin along with Representative Bruce Westerman and Brandon Miller Professional Staff, House Natural Resources Committee from Washington D.C.  

The forest products industry in Wisconsin provides more than 64,000 full and part-time jobs and has a total industry output of $24.5 billion and value-added $7.1 Billion.  Combining direct, indirect, and induced effect, the industry contributes over 140,000 jobs with an annual gross output of $38 Billion.
